Coach Skai hails from Eugene, Oregon, where he has been immersed in the sport of water polo since the eighth grade.

He began his athletic journey with the ECWP and continued to excel throughout his high school years at Sheldon, where he served as a goalie and was an active member of the swim team. Skai also earned a place on the USAWP ODP regional 18U team and currently serves as a coach for both the Sheldon water polo team and the Eugene City Water Polo club team.

In his coaching philosophy, Skai prioritizes the identification and correction of detrimental habits, the refinement of treading techniques, and the development of essential skills for goalies to effectively safeguard the cage. He is dedicated to fostering not only athletic improvement in his players but also personal growth in their everyday lives.
